In short, no. Which is why I don’t call myself one! I find interior designers intimidating and out of my league - I’m definitely more a fan of perfectly imperfect, lived-in and budget-friendly style. It’s how I’ve always lived and how I always will. It also made me the ideal candidate for helping launch Real Living magazine and why people have related to my blog and Instagram feed over the years. I much prefer working with what you have, creating a home over time, and getting creative with spaces and pieces - all within a minimal budget. Sure do! Time hasn’t been on my side to keep up the blog like I used to, but I still love being creative, I just don’t document it like I used to. I will try and do it a little more again but honestly, I don’t have the desire, will or patience to compete with the amazing DIY content creators out there nowadays. I just do it for me.
